Maintaining your nutrition on vacation

To kick the off the new year, I just started a nutrition program. They have been providing lots of info but we loved their reminders for maintaining your progress when on vacation. Vacation is a time to enjoy and recharge and you don’t want to start hating on your program. Jut being mindful is the best way to go. Here are some reminders:
Focus on memories over counting your every meal.
Focus on drinking your water (a challenge of mine). Try carrying a water bottle. I never have success traveling on a plane with my favorite water bottle but if its a car trip it would be easy to bring along.

Try to prioritize protein even if it’s just a bar .

Keep moving. Go for a walk, bring your resistance bands, find a home work out online. If so inclined – find a cool class at your destination.

Focus on what you can control. Let go of what you can’t and remember it is for a short time. Enjoy!
