Renting Reminder
DO NOT send money to anybody for a rental until you confirm they are the Homeowner or a Realtor representing the homeowner! The best way to do this is to use reputable online booking site (eg. VRLBI) or Realtor.
There are a lot of scammers on Facebook, so only send money to either a real estate office or an owner who you’ve communicated with.
If a person is renting on their own and NOT using a realtor, check the tax records of the home to confirm the person you are speaking with is the true owner of the home BEFORE you send them any money.
