Prevacation Photos

Who else freaks out before vacation? I always seem to do something outside my normal routine on a travel day. Whether it be curling my hair or using the iron or using the oven. As I pull away from the house I think about whether the house is locked or if I left something on. My sister is the same way but has tons of pictures on her phone of her stove. It is her piece of mind to know that its off.

After enough calls to our awesome neighbor to check on my curling iron – I invested in auto shut off curlers and an iron. Totally worth it!

My latest hack… I recently learned that my Amazon Echo has a camera on it to view anytime (so long it is switched on). Our hot water heater was on the fritz so I put the camera in the basement so I could check on it. It is now facing the stove so I can watch it whenever my sister is wondering if I left it on.
