Who needs a sweatshirt at the beach? You do!

This post isn’t about packing tips but it’s about the sweatshirt you need to buy. Yes. You may own tons of sweatshirts but you need one that says your beach town name. I’m not endorsing the Beach Patrol or Lifeguard sweatshirts but simply one that says Ocean City, Sea Isle, Avalon, Stone Harbor, LBI… you got the idea.

For many years my family would travel to Stone Harbor for our beach vacation. I was a teenager at the time. I’m sure I was such a joy to me around but dad loved every minute of our time together. We enjoyed our bike rides, morning trips to Mallons, evenings checking out the downtown.

It was probably from the Making Waves Store. At the time it was probably a big purchase considering he just the whole family on vacation for a week.

The sweatshirt reminded him of a moment in time. He passed away almost two years ago and his sweatshirt is now mine. It is here to bring me back to a time he was here and we were together as a familY.

So save a little space in your luggage for the big bulky sweatshirt to take you back to the time you were on vacation together.
